Q: Men’s trends are evolving at a rapid pace, with countless looks, ideas and references all trending at the same time. So how can retailers decide where to invest when everything goes?

“We have seen the rise of cash-candid dating on TikTok. It’s a new term that refers to couples and singles who are being super forthcoming and honest about their financial concerns in a romantic relationship. This new approach to dating has also led to the rise of low key, low budget and free date ideas on TikTok.”

Q: What is the future of camo in menswear?
“While traditional camouflage is less prevalent in fashion today, partly due to its connotations of conflict, WGSN is tracking the rise of artistic and abstract camo prints across catwalk and retail.
“Artful interpretation of camo offers a timeless and versatile look that speaks to both young and mature markets. This aesthetic will evolve to be a core print for many categories beyond outdoor styles and offers a fresh update for men’s shirting and gender-inclusive styles.”
