As Copenhagen Fashion Week kick-starts the A/W 24/25 collections, we're seeing our predictions for the new season come alive on the catwalks. We highlight three trends below: understated cool, romantic yet rebellious and hyper-feminine details.

Understated cool

In our Buying Director's Briefing, we called out the shaggy coat and the padded coat as must-haves for A/W 24/25. Both were spotted in abundance on the catwalks, their fusion of comfort and understated cool capturing the spirit of the city's winter style, as showcased by Forza Collective and Marimekko below.

Romantic yet rebellious

Though coats may be familiar territory, elsewhere designers parted ways with conventional and sheering away from Scandinavian minimalism. Sheer dresses in bold shades of radiant red deliver the romantic yet rebellious feel that we predict will be seen across the A/W 24/25 runways. Ganni, Forza Collective and ROTATE are a few examples of designers that included sheer dresses in their collections.

Hyper-feminine details

Designers like Gestuz, Nicklas Skovgaard and ROTATE dialled up the drama with oversized florals and glamorous elbow gloves, hyping up the hyper-feminine details that we're tracking on the Fashion Feed.
