Stylesight Scheduled to Hold Seminar at GlobalTex

Stylesight's VP Global Trends, Renee Labbe, will present a seminar at the 2010 GlobalTex Trade Show in Los Angeles on March 3rd at 12:15pm. Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from March 2nd-4th, GlobalTex is the only trade event in the US featuring the complete supply chain from design to production including textiles, technology, art studios, sourcing and ribbons & trim. GlobalTex offers a variety of education opportunities and special events for attendees.

China Sourcing Fair

This past month Stylesight’s Sophy Sha presented “Accessories Trends S/S 10” at the China Sourcing Fair, held in Shanghai. Sophy gave an in-depth look at the essential accessories trends that emerged from the S/S 10 runway collections around the globe with a focus on silhouettes, materials and details for everything from footwear to handbags to jewelry.

FIT Presentation

On March 2nd, Stylesight will present its superior trend forecasting services at NY's Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). The university is putting on a school-wide open house and Stylesight's Site Geniuses will be on hand to provide demonstrations of our unique trend content and state-of-the-art technology. The open house will be held in the Periodicals Department of the library on the FIT Campus.

São Paulo Fashion Week

São Paulo Fashion Week took over Brazil from January 17th-22nd. Trend & Site Genius for Latin America, Camila Toledo, presented a seminar in collaboration with Editora Abril (Elle Magazine) on January 19th. Camila's presentation surrounded Stylesight's Megatrends forecast for S/S 11 and brought in over 200 attendees. In addition, Stylesight set up a large screen in Elle Magazine's Lounge at São Paulo Fashion Week, where representatives were on hand to give site demonstrations and mingle with event attendees.



Stylesight at The Brandery

Stylesight exhibited at The Brandery, held January 27th-29th in Barcelona, Spain. The Brandery is a new international tradeshow for urban and contemporary fashion, fabrics and textiles. The show was an outstanding communication tool for buyers, distributors, salespeople and creators, and offered an innovative platform to gain access to the southern European market.

Megatrends Forecast S/S 10 Webinar

This past month Stylesight hosted the Megatrends Forecast S/S 11 webinar, featuring our SVP Trend Forecasting, Isham Sardouk, and East Coast Trend Director, Andrea Praet. The webinar provided an in-depth look at the macro influences shaping the design of things to come, addressing color direction, mood, icons and materials, as well as life & style directions.
