Role overview

The Commissioning Management Team is responsible for running a network of processes that link our products and services in a dynamic system that spans across verticals as One WGSN. 

We’re looking for a Senior Commissioning Manager to be a part of our Commissioning team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and running the work schedules of our data team, reporting to the Director of Commissioning Management, working closely with the Head of Data and also WGSN’s fellow Commissioning Managers to implement the strategy behind WGSN's constant content evolution.

 

The team 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Commissioning Management team which sits across all products at WGSN. You will work within the data team, while also working closely with multiple departments across the organisation including content, product, design and marketing, as well as supporting on key cross-functional strategic projects.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Planning and managing the work output of the WGSN Data Team 

  • Arranging workload and workflow on our planning software for each of the team members and working closely with Data Managers and Content Leads to execute the Data Team strategy balanced with the overarching business needs

  • To ensure the smooth running of the content team, systems need to be managed and updated when required to maintain the best working environment for analysts, avoiding any unnecessary disruptions or duplication in workflow

  • Create and implement new processes ensuring absolute efficiency 

  • Contribute to overall objectives and be accountable for specific personal content goals

  • Assist with the production of data and data visualisations in reports, and be responsible for ensuring relevant data is created on time, reviewing and editing on completion before sending to content to provide the highest WGSN standards are met

  • Accountable for collating data using key metrics to measure performance and efficiency and using internal data to improve content standards and relevance, implementing into content delivery through communication via presenting in meetings and written emails

Skills, experience & qualifications required

  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Monday or Hive

  • The discipline to self-manage, drive initiatives, and execute tasks to completion

  • Strong verbal and written communicator

  • A background in editing with a meticulous approach to fact-checking with a focus on quantitative data, qualitative data and data visualisation

  • A curious and analytical mind to be able to plan, create and execute new processes and systems to meet operational requirements

  • Ability to work in a dynamic team, with a skill set that enables you to work individually with a specific department or person but also cross-divisionally, unearthing and creating collaboration opportunities

  • A keen interest in WGSN products is required to think cross-divisionally and provide input on expanding data within our content offering

  • Preference to have Excel capabilities, an understanding of the role of a data analyst or previous experience working within a data team
