We are total suckers for Jay-Z’s newly released cover of Alphaville’s 1984 title track Forever Young. Mr. Hudson hits the nail on the head with his spot on rendition of the original chorus which basically provided the emotional soundtrack to every 8th grade dance in America. The best part — the video was shot in Philly with scenes filmed at FDR, one of the gnarliest skateparks on the East Coast. Willy Akers and Josh Marcinizyn make their pop-skate culture debut in the video, truly reminding us that eternal youth is just a state of mind. GET SOME!
