British artist, Yinka Shonibare, is known for his cross-cultural designs and unites the world through his fashions. Yinka’s designs create a formal European masquerade and adorns them with brilliantly patterned Africanesque fabrics. A graduate of the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, he has learned to explore and transform classic design, such as his recreation of the Chanel logo and a painting of Dorian Gray. His bright, cultural work can be admired at the Brooklyn Museum next week.
