It’s officially time, the 2014 World Cup has started! With the first game taking place in Sao Paulo at Arena de Sao Paulo, Brazil vs. Croatia kicks off the festivities. As the country of Brazil readies for the games, as well as watching their home team currently being favored to take it all home, we have rounded up some of our favorite World Cup things happening around the web.
The official game ball is much more than just a soccer ball. Not only was it meticulously designed, but it also has it’s very own personality! Brazuca has its own twitter account and is live tweeting the games, as well as sharing behind the scenes fun with its followers.

TEXTILE Elizabeth and James Tees
Fashion brand TEXTILE Elizabeth and James answered our prayers with some super chic fan gear. In the brands signature soft tees, there is one for every fans team, or even just a simple I Heart Fútbol for those that are still undecided. Available at Shopbop.
Nike Football #RiskEverything
Between the social media genius happening over at @NikeFootball, to the brands very own World Cup Spotify page (complete with tributes to one of our favorite Brazillians Neymar), Nike Football has been killing it. We were smitten after the first video they released Winner Stays and can’t wait to see what they keep throwing at us as the games continue.
