An exciting, outdoor photography festival will take place over one evening in September this year, in London’s Dalston. Called Night Contact, this nighttime event will support and connect innovative photographers who are engaging with sound, film and literature.

Taking over Dalston’s Gillett Square and beyond, large projection screens and six satellite venues will show a specially curated selection of multimedia works, which have mostly come from open submissions over the year. A handful of emerging artists have also been awarded with a grant of £1,000 to help fund a new, collaborative work that will be premiered during the festival evening.

Photographers and photography enthusiasts still have the chance to submit work and volunteer for the event, via the website.

Night Contact will take place on September 27, 2013, across several venues in Dalston, East London.
