Holiday Wish List: Day Nine

As many of my friends know I love shoes! Don’t tell my fiancé but I have over 50 pairs… Even though I wear a lot of trainers (my colleagues in the London office can testify as well as most of my clients actually), I am always on the hunt for the perfect pair of ankle boots. And these from ACNE will make it into my wardrobe very soon…
The only issue is that I do not know which pair to go for. The black ones are so timeless, but herb green is a key colourway for A/W 15/16, as noted in our Footwear & Accessories report. Tough choice- I may have to buy both.
During the winter I love wearing jumper dresses for two reasons:
1/I have voluptuous curves and these make me look feminine yet cool & comfy at the same time;
2/I like how versatile they are as I can wear them with trainers, heels or boots! I particularly like this one from ASOS WHITE [I am a fan of the whole range to be honest and already have quite a few of the pieces]. I love the colour combination and the design is interesting and not too loud – my voice already carries quite a lot of volume so I like my outfits to be on the stylish yet quiet end of the spectrum 😉
On my Christmas list, there is always a fragrance and this one is just simply a staple for me! I am French Caribbean from Paris and my fiancé is African from Ivory Coast so Bal D’Afrique by Byredo is just the best perfume for me (and him!): a mix of Paris avant-gardism and African culture, dance, art and music in a bottle.
Last on my list is a candle from This Works. Their neroli and sweet orange one smells fabulous! It is natural and is very calming. After each of my travels, I like to come back home and relax with the help of a great candle that releases soothing aroma of essential oils with a nice cup of tea! Calming Candles are key for A/W 15/16, you heard it here first.
