Holiday Wish List: Day 15

I’m desperately craving a new pair of winter boots and this season’s soft leather, high-ankle variety from Guy Laroche would pair beautifully with Tome’s deconstructed, oversized white shirt. High at the back and long at the front, it’s the loose, low slung tie around the waist that’s helped accelerate it to the top of my festive wish list.
Naturally, no letter to Santa of mine would be complete without a little something something from the beauty realm and I’ve had my eye on Bobbi Brown’s Sequin Eyeshadow in Moon Rock for months. Celestial tones are hotter than most right now and the fact that this shadow looks like a planet too makes it so much more covetable and stocking friendly.
On the tech front my wish is a necessity rather than a desire. I’ve spent many a frustrated minute scrabbling around on the floor for my phone charger but Native Union’s NIGHT cable with weighted knot solves that problem in a jiffy. Anchoring the cable to any flat surface, it also has a 3-meter range to help eradicate ungainly straining to text whilst charging – a potentially dangerous invention that will see me scrolling well into the early hours.
To counteract that outcome, however, I’m hoping to slow down with the recently launched I Call Myself a Feminist book. 25 women under 30 discuss what it means to be a feminist in 2015, and rather than a tirade of arguments on equality and sexism, the likes of Laura Bates, Yas Necati and Laura Pankhurst discuss insightful topics from perfection through to language and religion. Come on December 25th.
