Holiday Wish List: Day 11
WGSN Staffer: Sam Aldenton, Associate Digital Editor
This holiday season offers up a variety of temperatures for me, for parts of it I’ll be in the New York office, and in need of winter warmers. However, I’m also headed to Hawaii for some beach time, and then home to Australia, so I’ve planned my wish list with all of that in mind.
1. Isabel Marant
First up, I found this ridiculously marked down amazing Isabel Marant cocoon coat in the Barneys’ Black Friday sale and I can. not. stop. thinking. about. it.
2. Prada Lug Boots
Vestiaire Collective is my favourite designer consignment site and is perfect for hunting down those pieces you hesitated on or couldn’t find when they first came out. I’ve been eyeing these Prada Lug Sole Zip Front Ankle Boots from the brand’s Fall 13/14 collection which sold out and I’ve finally found them again. Fingers crossed Santa is feeling benevolent this year 😉
3. Minimale Animale swimsuit
I’ll be headed to Hawaii in December and have had my eye on a couple of swimsuits from my favourite swim brand Minimale Animale. I discovered the LA label when I was covering Miami Fashion Week a few years ago and they’re one of the only brands doing a high cut brief right now, which I can’t get enough of.
4. Cashmere jogger pants
After Hawaii I’m heading home to Australia for Christmas and these joggers from White and Warren would be perfect for the very long 24-hour flight back to New York.
5. Missoma necklace
Finally, how could I neglect to have a little something sparkly on my list. I absolutely love this horn necklace on a satellite chain from Missoma. It was also designed by British blogger Lucy Williams.
