Converse have made it into our most loved brands in 2017 amongst a nationally representative sample. Reassuringly, that affinity holds up across different age groups, with Converse ranked as the fifth most loved retailer amongst the 16-24 year olds.
One of the most popular and iconic footwear silhouettes of all time, the eponymous Chuck Taylor trainer is now over 100 years old. For the shoe’s centennial in 2017, Converse released one of the biggest scale advertising campaigns highlighting how the Chuck has become an anchor across pop-culture.
Strategic partnership such as its current one with child celebrity of the moment Millie Bobby Brown, star of “Stranger Things”, keep the Converse brand modern and relevant as evident in its presence among the Top Five most loved brands amongst 16-24s. Millie Bobby Brown appeared in the campaign and opted for box-fresh, white Converse on the red carpet last week at the SAG awards- no doubt introducing the Converse to a whole new generation of tweens and teens, thus ensuring that their significance endures.
