New online luxury retailer Olivela is helping shoppers feel better about their purchases by donating to children’s focused causes when a person shops. It has been designed to highlight where a customer’s purchase dollars go, specifying which charity and what the charity will do with the donation. “The purchase of this bag will provide 2,667 days worth of diapers for families in need through Good+ Foundation.” A personalised dashboard called The Olivela Effect tracks the total charitable impact of a client’s purchases.
And this holiday season the e-commerce site has asked a whole host of famous faces to curate a wish list of products that support any Olivela’s charity partner of their choice.
