We Love: Where I Was From

We’re loving the denim pieces on online retail site Where I Was From.

We were sent this tumblr a couple of weeks ago and loved it. However, it took us until today to realize that the blog is actually for a gorgeous vintage clothing website based out of Williamsburg, N.Y.

Where I Was From was set up by Claire Lampert and Darroch Putnam, who met on a photoshoot in 2010. The vintage clothing site (launched late last year) focuses on utilitarian and unisex clothing (with a lot of denim thrown in) that is both sourced and photographed by Lampert and Putnam. The site is expertly curated and the outfits are shot with style and flair, making their blog and site go-to sources for popular U.S. publications such as TimeOut New York and Refinery29.

We’re particularly loving their patched vintage jeans for him and her, denim utility vests, and railroad jackets. What’s also great about the site is the Worn With section, featuring their fascinating friends sporting and styling items for sale. The whole concept makes the clothing “real” for the consumer and very desirable (similar to The Selby.)

Check out the blog and website for more denim inspiration!
