We have to stop posting about Kapital! But the product they are kicking out at the moment is awesome.
The Japanese brand is known for putting the artisanal into Americana and its Kountry collection really is a true celebration of vintaged surface: darn stitched, patched and loved-to-death looks are modernized with quirky fabric choices and colors that you simply don’t see anywhere else.
Their latest capsule collection for Kountry is named College of Navajo and really does stay true to that aesthetic: overworked and rich, blankety surfaces sit with uber-vintage and cracked letterman patches. In their words, mixing “the detail of the old college-wear and the history of the Indian tribes.”
The range includes jackets, cardigans and pants – but from our searching on the website, it looks like these items are only available in store at the moment. If you’re planning a trip to Tokyo soon, we suggest you get to one of their stores!
