We love… Dazed & Confused book: Making It Up As We Go Along

To mark their 20th anniversary, Dazed and Confused magazine has released a new book, Making It Up As We Go Along, which travels along a visual journey, showcasing the groundbreaking editorial and photography content that has graced the pages of London’s most coveted, contemporary style and culture magazine for the last two decades.

Published by Rizzoli, the content has been edited by the magazines creators; University friends, photographer Rankin and journalist, Jefferson Hack, and includes an introduction and dialogue between the two, giving readers insight into the magazine’s humble beginnings during the early 90’s.

As well as a selection of their favorite, iconic cover images, and fashion editorial from the likes of Alexander McQueen, Harmony Korine and Damien Hirst, this beautiful coffee table book features interviews with the stylists, photographers, musicians, artists and designers that have contributed to and shaped the direction of the magazine as it stands today.

Since its inception in 1991, Dazed has carved out its own path in the fashion industry, creating and pushing its own boundaries to become a key reference and source for underground style and culture in the Britain today. – Samantha Fox

Making It Up As We Go Along, the exhibition, will also be showing at Somerset House from November 4th, 2011 until January 29th, 2011.  Order your copy of the book here.
