Inspired by the ancient Greek festival Gymnopaedia and Acne‘s love of youth culture, the brand focuses on youth in a broader, creative context over 256 pages, and celebrates artisinal traditions such as classical music, playwriting and ballet in a collection of interviews, portraiture and fashion.
Born nearly 15 years ago, the Swedish power brand have always had youth at the heart of their creative work.
“People who express great devotion to a creative practice from an early age was something we found interesting to address,” note the fashion collective in their press release.
Issue 12 was launched last week in the courtyard of the The Ritz hotel during Couture Fashion Week in Paris. Stylish guests including Anna Dello Russo – Vogue Japan Editor-at-large, and Hamish Bowles turned out in all their sartorial splendor to witness a spectacular performance by Violin virtuoso Charlie Siem, featured in the issue.
