Today Stylesight’s Lifestyle team were lucky enough to sample the healthy delights at Innocent’s pop-up ‘5 for 5’ cafe in London’s Shoreditch neighborhood.
For one-week-only Friday October 1 to 8, guest chef Gizzi Erskine is creating a bespoke lunch and dinner menu, which hopes to serve diners 25,000 portions of fruit and vegetables – ensuring 5000 customers get their five-a-day for only five pounds.
The temporary cafe is housed in The Tramshed, a grade 2 listed power station in London’s most creative area. The space has been transformed into a communal dining room with wooden trestle tables and colorful bunting.
Tables were much in demand so for those unable to secure a reservation, take-out smoothies and veg-pots are available and chef Gizzi’s recipes will be published in a special book and online to enjoy at home.
