The first W Hotel in France is set to open on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, in the chic and bustling Opéra neighborhood of Paris. Occupying an elegant 1870s Haussmann building, The W Paris-Opéra boasts the city’s historic department stores–Galeries Lafayette and Printemps–as close neighbors, along with the iconic Place Vendôme, and the exclusive boutiques of Saint-Honoré. But if shopping is not enough of a reason to make this you new Parisian launch pad, then the hotel’s gorgeous view of the landmark Opéra Garnier will be, along it’s proximity to world class museums and restaurants.
The hotel’s 91 guestrooms and suites feature custom made furnishings including the signature W bed with its plush pillow-top mattress and 350-thread count sheets and W’s famed Whatever/Whenever service. Guests can mix and mingle over cocktails with Parisian locals at the W Lounge or at Arola, the signature gourmet tapas restaurant headed up by Sergi Arola, a two-starred Michelin Executive Chef who hails from Spain.
With Paris Fashion Week just around the corner, it’s already one of the city most buzzed about new openings, and with Andre, Lionel, and the rest of the team from Le Baron already in charge of orchestrating the festivities, it sure to be a hotspot for some time to come.
