NEW YORK…Cutting edge designer Victoria Bartlett has been a player on the New York scene for quite some time, building a reputation for interesting construction, layers and sleek downtown basics. The F/W 08 season proved consistent with her past work, featuring a pared down, gunmetal and tan palette peppered with hazard orange and smurf blue. Moving away from her signature body conscious, active-inspired silhouettes, the designer introduced looser, pleated shorts and pants as well as boxy-fit jackets. VPL (which stands for Visible Panty Line) proved to be a thorough, directional, and modern take on Juniors fashion.
