Opening this week at an exhibition space in the basement of London-based Selfridges, “Vivienne Westwood Shoes: An Exhibtion 1973-2010” celebrates the quirky personality of one of England’s most loved designers. The collection is timed in preparation for the store’s launch of their new “Biggest Shoe Department in the World.” Over 200 vintage and current shoes are on display, including rememberable styles like the pirate boot, court shoe, “rocking horse” ballerina, three tongued trainer and the notorious Naomi-Campbell-tumbling-platform of ’93.
