London: Though kooky and as eclectic as ever, Vivienne Westwood’s designs for her Red Label line weren’t sloppy. Held at London’s Royal Courts of Justice, the show was full of offbeat, tailored looks that would suit an eccentric London lady on her court date. The designer’s signature pinstripes upped the formality of many looks, while plaid and leopard patterns were strategically mixed in to create pleasing combinations. Westwood’s constructed hourglass silhouettes were present throughout, softened by the designer’s masterful asymmetric drapery. Accessory styles were aplenty – assorted hats, a range of boots and pumps, patterned socks and charm necklaces were piled on.
