Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label line was, as always, full of the designer’s twisted ladylike looks. Creative silhouettes, asymmetrical cuts and plenty of signature Westwood drapery added interest and edge to traditional British fabrics like shirting stripes, plaids and pinstripes, with some painterly florals, dots and harlequin diamonds thrown in for fun. In a happy departure from last season’s dark collegiate looks, Westwood offered the sexy, flirty take on historical costume that we have come to expect and admire.
