Happy New Year to all, and hoping everyone’s refreshed and re-energized for 2011! To ease you into the New Year the Graphic team thought a selection of truly inspiring vintage Japanese poster artworks by Kazumasa Nagai would be a treat.
These high-impact posters from the 60s and 70s really twisted the boundaries of traditional Japanese art and contemporary graphic design. Dramatic sphere shapes and linear mapped elements dominated Nagai’s experimental graphic poster design.
To see more of these inspiring and still very relevant poster designs visit the Pink Tentacle.
