VICE launches The Creators Project


VICE and Intel have teamed up to launch a fresh and visionary initiative titled, The Creators Project. Described as, “a new network dedicated to the celebration of creativity and culture across media, and around the world,” this unique platform allows for artists, musicians, writers and filmmakers to share their own viewpoints and creativity directly with the public.

On Monday, May 17th, VICEs co-founder Shane Smith, Intel CMO Deborah Conrad, DJ/Producer Mark Ronson and Neon Indian AKA Alan Palomo spoke at a press conference in New York City describing the concept and detailing future events.

A rich list of creators will include: Interpol, Sleigh Bells, Mark Ronson, Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Neon Indian, Stefan Seagmeister, Phoenix, Diplo and Richie Hawtin.

On June 26th The Creators Project will kick off a global series of events at MILK studios in NYC – future events will be held in London on July 17th, Sao Paolo, Brazil on August 14th, Seoul, South Korea on August 28th and Beijing, China from September 17th-19th.
