The City of Lights is going to shine a little brighter as every Valli girl’s dream comes true. Italian designer, Giambattista Valli, has unveiled his first stand alone boutique in Paris.
Housed in a 19th century-inspired arcade, the store was designed by Valli himself and architect Luigi Scialanga. The space is suggestive of a gallery more than a boutique showing off not only the designer’s apparel collection, but also his taste in antiques and other decor objects, most of which are also for sale.
The main room features spacious, intimate changing rooms with floor-to-ceiling antique mirrored doors and a seating area for guests. Roam around among shoes (custom ordering available) that sit on mirrored shelves and clothes that hang against beautifully textured stone backdrops and powder pink walls. Dark wood fixtures and furniture complement the delicate tones that dominate the interior. A new collaboration with Cire Trudon perfumes the air with an equally charming contrast, black pepper and rose scented candles.
