New York: Public School played upon current streetwear styling trends with exaggerated layered looks with pieces that possessed an utilitarian feel. Sleeveless zip-up jackets featured prominent gusset pockets and a funnel neck, left open to reveal a shacked over an elongated shadow plaid shirt, all paired with an ankle-cropped drop-crotch trouser. There was a sense of relaxed fluidity like in a rounded robe coat that seemed to flow just like the oversized trousers it was paired with. But some of that harder edge came through padded nylon bombers and an anorak that had both a luxe and tough feel with paneled nylon and wool. Layered pull-over nylon tops had a protective quality with many of these looks featuring below-the-knee length tunic shirts with side slits, some in grunge-like plaids. The popular winter short over tights styling choice was also present. – Matt Feniger
