Milan: Antonio Marras’ inspiration came from two different personalities, the Sardinian artist Costantino Nivola and Taxi Driver’s film main character Travis Bickle. The collection felt cohesive and modern – from the clever use of fabrics and textures to the show’s set. Sturdy parkas paired with micro patterned suits gracefully. The line up blended military elements, urban tailoring and a seventies attitude – fur patchwork and military intarsias appeared on outerwear, while velvet suits and patterned roll-neck sweaters brought some retro, yet modern feel. Tactile materials updated hybrid suits and slim trousers, keeping the outdoorsy vibe very urban. – Diego Sanchez
