Japan casualwear retail giant Uniqlo is to launch a new collection developed with former Hermès creative director Christophe Lemaire.
The collection, which will launch in Japan in October, will comprise mainly causal pieces of knits and outerwear for both men and women.
Yukihiro Katsuta, senior vice-president of Uniqlo’s parent company Fast Retailing, told Nikkei Report that the collection was priced as closely to Uniqlo’s existing products as possible, with a focus on simple design and comfort.
Prices will range from ¥2,990-¥14,900 ($24.94-$124.27) for knits and ¥12,900-¥17,900 for outerwear.
