Fresh and full of energy, Tsumori Chisato appeals to a quirky and slightly demure customer, a girl uninterested in overtly sexy, body-con looks but still seeking cute, offbeat pieces. S/S 10 brought an exploration of voluminous shapes, in ruffled, twisted or layered silhouettes, a fluffy mix of bubble skirts, bloomers, draped dresses, chiffon blouses and off-the-shoulder, flounced tops. Texture as well as pattern was key, as in sailor stripes colliding with polka dots and sparkle-infused florals peeking out under spiderwebby lace vests. Directional yet accessible, Chisato this season wass chock full of key details, patterns and color combinations applicable to feminine, fun Junior separates.
