Milan: Its definitely not easy to inject life into a hundred year old brand, but Trussardi creative director Umit Benan, fresh on the job has managed to do just that. His training as a menswear designer was clear, as all the looks focused on clean, tailored shapes comprised of slouchy or crisp separates, various combinations of blazers, button ups, trousers and long shorts comprised most of the collection. A strong palette that evolved from sand to mustard to blues to reds and ended in crisp whites felt rustic yet clean, while the heritage nod to the Trussardi brand came in the form of a range of gorgeously constructed leather travel bags. —Shannon Davenport
