New York: Tracy Reese mixed two seemingly opposite inspirations—utilitarian and glam—in her Fall lineup. The result was altogether fresh, and the designer injected a dazzling display of glitz into no-nonsense items like anoraks and toggle coats. When it came to statement pieces, Reese pulled out all the stops with sequins, metallics, optic prints and feathers, but the result managed to be fun without feeling over the top.— Shannon Davenport
