It comes as no surprise to see Miss Torah Bright – Olympic Snowboard Team member from Australia – take home the Gold medal late last week due to her highly streamlined moves within the 22-foot Superpipe at Cypress — Just a “little trick” called a switch backside 720– It’s quite exciting to watch this powerful woman push snowboarding to that next tier for the ladies…
With Torah’s brother – who is also her coach – and family members watching from the stands, she initially fell during her first run, placing her at the very bottom of the heat. It in turn forced Torah to do back-to-back runs with no rest.
Torah beat out, Hannah Teter who took home the Silver Medal and Bronze Medalist, Kelly Clark, respectively. It’s certainly was a tough showdown between all of the ladies competing.
We will be wrapping up the Olympics this week with a full report… stay tuned!
