Topshop Unique

London: A brand known for their consistently changing aesthetic, Topshop Unique moved on from the glam rock glitz of the 1970s they showed for Spring and into a different era altogether, the 1930s. The clothes themselves were a bit more grown-up this season, with long-sleeved blouses and midcalf skirts and dresses evoking a prim secretary feel, but the signature youthful quirk Topshop is known for was still evident in a myriad of details. A bold Dalmatian print was echoed in a lighthearted canine-motif conversational, and face-paint and high-placed buns that suggested perky ears underlined the “man’s best friend” theme. Peter Pan collars detailed many of the looks for a sweet and saleable touch.
