The School of Life has just released its new stationery range, Tools for Thinking.

Designed by philosopher Alain de Botton and The School of Life director Morgwn Rimel, this fun stationery collection encourages pensive contemplation through whimsical graphic design.

The range of notebooks, pencils and cards include Skeptical and Productive notebooks lined with American artist Cy Twombly’s art. In addition, the set contains pencils with key words and a box of 20 Aphorisms with statements such as “Any idiot can face a crisis. It is this day-to-day living that wears you out”.

A box of 100 questions provides great conversation starters, while Pessimist Notebooks honor legendary pessimists such as Pascal, Chamfort and Shopenhauer.

Offering a wide range of classes, The School of Life in London was set up by Alain de Botton to explore vital questions of everyday life and promote mindful living.
