One of the standout exhibitors at the 2015 Summer Fancy Food Show is Vermont-based Tonewood Maple, which specialises in pure maple syrup products enhanced with innovative design. The Maple Cube – which can be shaved over treats or cut into to make single-serve cubes – has proved a huge hit amongst show attendees.
The brand also showcased its Maple Flakes, which provide a simple, mess-free garnish for sweet and savoury foods, and Maple Cream, a creamy spread that can be smoothed over toast or drizzled onto ice cream or popcorn. Tonewood is rethinking the way consumers are using natural maple syrup, producing innovative products that also have a fun user experience attached.
Held at New York City’s Jacob Javits Center, the Summer Fancy Food Show is the largest marketplace devoted exclusively to speciality foods and beverages in North America. Helping to launch brands such as Pop Chips, Honest Tea and Ben & Jerry’s, the show attracts more than 2,700 exhibitors and 24,000 attendees.
