Inspired by an island-hopping holiday between the white sand beaches of St.Vincent and The Grenadines, the Caribbean lifestyle provides amble fodder for Tommy Hilfiger’s spring/summer 16 campaign.
“My family and I have always loved the Caribbean, and Mustique in particular is our favorite place to spend time together. This season, we channel this ‘island life’ inspiration into our colorful, cool campaign with an eclectic twist.”
Titled Wish You Were Here, the campaign is photographed by Craig McDean, styled by Karl Templer and creatively directed by Trey Laird of Laird + Partners.
The campaign presents a new direction for the brand showing a more playful and loose side from its traditionally preppy all-American looking campaigns. The brand’s digital investment is also extending this season, according to Chief Brand and Marketing Officer Avery Baker, as it looks to expand its women’s business.
Model Behati Prinsloo joins the label for her third consecutive run as the face of Tommy Hilfiger and is joined by Miles McMillan, Marlon Teixeira, Nathan Owens, Jordan Barrett, and Darius Trabalza Haynes.
Hair was done by Tomo Jidai and makeup by Francelle Daly.
