Digitally adverse designer Tom Ford who recently announced his late-to-the-game move into e-commerce has this A/W 15 season cast male model and Instagram star Lucky Blue Smith next to Ondria Hardin.
Smith who has 1.2 million Instagram followers can be seen posing in the middle of a rocky desert in a 70s style brown suede jacket with shearling edges and a black pea coat layered over a denim jacket.
It’s interesting to see how the Tom Ford brand is evolving from its initial anti-digital ethos to embracing the online way, remembering when Ford instilled a strict no social media policy on his first women’s collection.
The designer has now moved into e-commerce just over a month ago and is featuring one of the male modeling industry’s most prolific social-stars in it’s A/W 15 campaign.
The campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti also shows Hardin looking incredibly tan and gleaming in a gold lip make-up look. She wears a number of bold looks including a leopard print patch denim jacket, a backless layered fringe dress and oversized beaded fringe earrings.
