Todd Snyder Combines Form & Function in Runway Debut

New York: For Todd Snyder’s runway debut, his inspiration was the marriage of form and function and, according to the show notes, was keen on “delivering maximal statements in minimalist packages.” This was evident in the styling of short sleeve sweatshirts with tuxedo pants or a shirt and tie paired with sweatpants. The shorts were a definite highlight, tailored to perfection just above the knee, some sporting cuffs and side tuxedo stripes. Overall, fabric and styling came together for an extremely wearable collection.   –Matt Feniger
