LONDON…Julien Macdonald’s super-glam show brought London Fashion Week to an end, turning the Hilton Ballroom into a winter wonderland with models walking through piles of faux snow. The collection itself was filled with luxe knits and materials, including cashmere cable-knit for sweaters and dresses. There was also a bold black and white window-pane checked mohair for jackets and suits with mini skirts. MacDonald’s designs are known to appeal to an audience of newly-wealthy Muscovites. The super luxe furs and cocktail dresses will not disappoint. In all a stellar end to a week that suffered from losing some of its stars to other cities.
