New York designer Tim Hamilton continues his climb to the top of the fashion food chain with collection after collection of wearable innovation. For F/W 10, his intent was to showcase an assortment of well-tailored looks with an edgy and tough attitude. The wool blazers that looked semi-classic at first glance actually went the anti-establishment route by having no lapels and pinstripes used at an angle. Patchwork cardigans and heavily tactile sweater coats had a comfortable yet directional appearance. Slim pants were cropped or cut from leather and worn with Dr. Martens, all giving off the appropriate whiff of street cred, something Hamilton successfully accomplishes each season.
