I see a lot of lingerie brands in my role, each offering something new and exciting, from emerging brands to the staple lingerie brands that have been in the market for decades,  continuously reinventing with their latest designs.

One new brand that is on my radar and has made a huge impact on the market, through its striking lookbook images and social media branding is lingerie line Me and You . Here’s three reasons it’s one to watch:

1. This lingerie brand’s resident photographer is cool girl Petra Collins – who came onto the scene through exposure on Tavi’s site Rookie, and is known for shooting real women in a real way. She brings her magic touch to the brand’s lookbook.

2. The product: It’s all about a back to basics feel, think soft cotton fabrics, no underwire, pastel colour ways, and covetable (instagram-worthy) cherry motifs.

3. The feminist messaging: the brand was started by BFF’s Mayan Toledano and Julia Baylis, and at the heart of it, it’s all about friendship and feminism. This isn’t for shy and retiring types, it’s all about wearing your heart on your sleeves (read: lingerie).

(3.5 Me and You is not just about lingerie, you can also get cool pins and sweaters with feminist messaging on too.)
