|Thomas Chavel, proprietor of Parisian interiors outpost Thomas Chavel Design, worked in advertising for several years before a trip to Morocco inspired him to pursue design. Starting with ceramics, Chavel has since gone on to develop an extensive line for the home that embodies a classic, monochromatic aesthetic with a decidedly modern feel, evocative of the work of sculptor Constantin Brancusi.

|While Chavel designs ninety percent of the collection himself, he also sources from designers in France, America or anywhere he travels, which he claims is a big source of inspiration. With new prototypes created every few months, Chavel is continually developing ideas for his concept line for the home, which includes sculptural vases, planters, wine racks, champagne buckets and more, all in silver and gold.
