Major intimates influencer Victoria Bartlett presented another exceptional collection over the weekend at Pier 59 to an enthusiastic crowd of hip fashion insiders. Always a strong point of her collections, the color palette featured an intriguing mix of desert nudes, rich jewels, rusty metallics and vivid orange pops. The concept behind the collection was “stretch and fold,” communicated in innovative origami details, “bi-fractional” piecing and body-hugging drapery. Bartlett also presented one of the most directional takes on the fetishwear trend, using nude rubbery latex panels and “bondage bands” in a scientific fashion that was both sexy and cerebral.
