Canceled last year due to the writer’s strike, just like Mickey Rourke, The Golden Globes made a big comeback. Kate Winslet was three times a winner with two awards and one from Stylesight for her flawless style, a strapless YSL gown with Chopard diamond pendant around her waist. Maggie Gyllenhaal in Lanvin, Drew Barrymore in Dior and Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé channeled ’80s shows, Dallas and Dynasty, in gowns that featured one-shoulder details and voluminous hemlines.
Dapper looks from their male counterparts certainly didn’t disappoint. Leonardo Di Caprio accompanied Winslet in Giorgio Armani, Jonathan Rhys Meyers sported a traditional three-piece suit and Tom Cruise sparkled with a satin tie and lapels.
