Last night, we caught up with The Sartorialist (aka Scott Schuman) at his official coming out party at Barneys. The event and book signing was to celebrate his new self-named book of favorite street images, as well as the pop-up shop on the men’s designer floor celebrating the chic style he’s so famous for capturing. Called “The SartoriaLUST,” the temporary shop is a collaborative effort between Schuman and Barneys buyers, offering clothing and accessories similar to those that his favorite men have been photographed wearing. Brands in the shop include: Dries Van Noten, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and Jil Sander as well as smaller brands such as Duckie Brown, Lidfort and Fairfax.
The attendees of the party were just as chic as the people on Schuman’s popular street blog, coming in a variety of looks, from classic to edgy to colorful.
