To celebrate his 10 year anniversary Alexander Wang has partnered with DoSomething.org by creating a collection of t-shirts and hoodies.
Everyday there seems to be another story about a designer charity collaboration but Wang being Wang, of course he had to take the tried and true designer/charity collaboration to the next level. The former Balenciaga Creative Director has gone and pulled a Bono (Project Red), calling all of his cool celebrity friends to get involved.
Friends like Kanye West, Kate Moss and Kristen Wiig – and those are just the friends who’s names start with a ‘K’. Pamela Anderson, Gemma Ward and of course Kim Kardashian are just a few more stand out names featured in the black and white profile series. An insanely large number of the designer’s celebrity and model friends have taken part in the campaign (38 in total), shot by photographer Steven Klein.
The collection is available exclusively on Alexanderwang.com and in the brand’s stores. Proceeds will go towards one of the largest global organization supporting young people and social change.
