A major challenge facing the naturals market is finding a balance between using “natural” ingredients and creating products that are truly effective. Emerging products in the naturals market suggest that results are becoming as important as staying eco-friendly.
Most recently, the green chemistry group at the University of Leeds in the U.K. made waves with their natural hair dyes that proved effective. Using only pure plant and algae pigments, the University achieved the same results as those currently on the market. Now in talks with mass retailers, it looks as though natural and efficacious hair color will soon be on the shelves.
Another brand that has successfully bridged effective results and natural ingredients is Dermaheal. With their new “2 Week Miracle” skin care line, Dermaheal combines 100% organic and preservative-free plant-based ingredients with scientifically researched
nano-encapsulated peptides- making for a truly effective and natural product.
