The Manhattan Vintage Show was this past weekend. Designers, die hard vintage collectors and shoppers poured into New York’s Metropolitan Pavilion to hunt for their treasure. Pieces from Augusta Auction’s fall vintage auction on November 10th were also on display as enticing preview to the upcoming event also to be held in Manhattan. An exhibit featuring 1920s fashions like those in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire made a great addition to the rows and rows of wonderful vintage as historical television shows continue to illuminate forgotten decades of fashion.
