I’ve often thought that Bryant Park is the most urbane of New York City’s parks. Surrounded by midtown skyscrapers, with its wooden park chairs and carousel (not to mention the summer film series, outdoor winter ice skating, and twice yearly Fashion Week tents), the park feels like a grand Parisian jardin has been plopped down in the heart of Manhattan.
With the amazing (scary?) summer-like weather we’ve been enjoying in the city so far this fall, the park has been packed at lunch lately. I had lunch there the last couple of days myself and shot photos of the cute mix of Conde Nast assistants/editors, MTV employees, and Fashion District refugees.
